If even a small percentage of them are sent to Phones for Haiti, it would contribute millions of dollars towards relief from the devastating earthquake. ReCellular will give 100% of the phone value as a contribution to the American Red Cross; charities have already earned more than $20 million dollars in contributions through their partnerships with ReCellular.

Google just unveiled its own smartphone, the Nexus One, upping the stakes once again in the smartphone arena. Unveiled at Google headquarters in Mountain View California, The Nexus One is powered with Android 2.1 (Google’s operating system for smartphones) which means it offers full support for services like Gmail and is ready to tie in with social networking services like Facebook and Twitter.
